Upon receipt of your photograph, the repair/reproduction process begins.
First, the photograph will be evaluated.
Depending on the type of damage, an estimate is made as to the time
needed to make the repair. You will then receive a detailed estimate
via email of the cost of repair before any further action is taken.
Pending your approval, the photograph
will then be scanned on a high-end flatbed scanner and saved as
a high resolution digital file. Once this reproduction is complete,
your original photograph is placed in an archival clear plastic
sheet to prevent any damage due to handling.
Repairs are then made by comparing
the original with the digital reproduction. RPM-Grafix uses the
best photo editing software available.
Lastly, the image is printed on archival
fine art paper (your choice of glossy or matte finishes) on a state-of-the-art
pigment-based printer. The resulting image is guaranteed fade resistant
for longer than your original photograph when placed in a photo
album or displayed behind UV coated glass.
For an additional fee, you may also
purchase a copy of both the initial image scan and the fixed high
resolution final image on a CD. If you should ever need additional
copies of the image, simply mail the CD to RPM-Grafix, and we will
produce however many copies you desire.
