I am Jim Andrews, Professor of Informatics and Information Science at the University of South Florida, School of Information and the William W. and Judith A. Gaunt Endowed Professor of Library and Information Science. I previously served as Director for 12 years until 2021. My research falls broadly within the interdisciplinary field of health informatics. Specifically, I have interests in semantic interoperability and terminologies, and health-related information behaviors, I work collaboratively with researchers from USF Health, within SI, and also across the country and internatioinally.
