In the summer of 2005, I graduated from Florida State University with a bachelors degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. In the spring of 2008, I received second bachelors degree from the University of South Florida-St. Petersburg in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Journalism and Media Studies.
Over the last three years I have also covered high school sports for three newspapers, the St. Petersburg Times, Tampa Tribune, and Venice Gondolier Sun. These opportunities have given me the chance to further enhance my writing skills in a fast paced environment. Further, after working at AARP, I believe I am prepared to operate in any setting and perform multiple tasks while producing exemplary results.
