Beta Phi Mu
On April 22, 2007, Marcia Stepanek was initiated into the Beta Phi Chapter of Beta Phi Mu at the University of South Florida, Tampa.
Beta Phi Mu was founded in 1948 by a group of leading librarians and library educators to recognize and encourage scholastic achievement among library and information studies students. The motto, Aliis inserviendo consumor, meaning “Consumed in the service of others” was selected by the founders based on the concept of dedication of librarians and other information professionals to the service of others.

Phi Kappa Phi
On April 1, 2007, Marcia Stepanek was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, Chapter 126, at the Marshall Center Ballroom, University of South Florida, Tampa, FL. Here's a few photos my husband Jim took during the initiation. thanks Jim!
