Tips
For Kids and Teenagers
- If
you think something is wrong, go to your parents, school teacher, or a
trusted adult for help.
- Do
not reply to a message while angry or upset.
- Do
not forward cyberbullying messages.
- Do
not open any messages if you don't know the sender.
- Do
not to give out any personal information about yourself or anyone
else.
(ex. phone number, home address, email, names, passwords, school name,
team
name).
- Send
your messages to the right address.
- Proofread your messages before sending them to someone.
- Remember
that something you might find funny, might be harmful to someone else.
- Talk
to your friends about stopping cyberbullying.
- Talk
to your parent(s), teacher or a trusted adult if you know someone who is
being cyberbullied.
