HOW DO WE PREVENT IT: Advice for Parents Teachers and Children

      -  Never give out any personal information regarding yourself, friends, family,                

       school, etc.

-         Educate children about Cyberbullying and they ways people can use information to hurt them.

-         Educate children about the potential consequences of not following the internet rules.  For example: taking away a cell phone, losing their Instant Messaging or email accounts may be helpful.

-         Teaching them to respect others and to take a stand against bullying of all kinds helps too.

-         Keep computer in public area of the house.

-         Know who your children talk to online

-  Communicate with your children as well as other parents
